Church Life
Worship Services
Worship services are an integral element of our church's life. They are held at 11.00am on Sundays and they are flexible and varied in content and style. Our focus is on praising God and to this end we sing, pray and read Scripture together. On occasions we also have singing and musical presentations in the course of the service. An important element of the service is the presentation of a message from the Scriptures. While this will usually involve a sermon based on Bible exposition, on occasions it might take other forms such as topical or dramatic preaching, but always rooted in the Scriptures.
Ladies Ministry
The main element of this is a Ladies' fellowship group that meets regularly for study, sharing and prayer. Also various events are organised throughout the year.
Groups
We have a home fellowship group and a Bible study group meeting regularly and we hope to establish other fellowship groups in the future
We do not believe in infant baptism, but believers' baptism (see below). We do view children as precious and we do dedicate them to the Lord if their parents wish to do so.
Pastoral Care and Visitation
The pastor and the leadership team provide pastoral care for those in the fellowship and their families and also seek to be of assistance to those outside of the fellowship in the community. Regular visits to homes of those who are unable to attend church services due to disability or sickness are undertaken.
Baptism
We believe in the baptism of those who have placed their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. It involves immersion in water. Please contact the pastor with any inquiries.
Wedding Ceremony
Please contact the church's pastor if you are seeking a marriage ceremony
Funerals ceremony
We are willing to host a ceremony for those who have passed away. Please contact the pastor if you would like to have a ceremony arranged.
Junior Church
We provide Junior church for children of school age. Children go out to junior church part way through the church service. Teachers and helpers are all DBS checked.
